Law of Compensation

A separate page is devoted to this law, given the importance of the role it plays in civilization and in the life of each individual. In Russia, the law cited a proverb: "You reap what you've sown."

Very well the law is interpreted in the book by American amateur historian M. Dale Palmer "True Esoteric Traditions", following are some quotes concerning this law.

"Law of Compensation or Karma: For each action there is an equal and opposite reaction. For each sorrow or joy we bring to others, we shall have experience in like degree and manner at the appropriate time, so that the lessons to be gained will teach us our error and increase our understanding."

"The Law of Love can over-power the Law of Compensation. A person can wipe out all of those debts to others, through the Law of Love, by forgiving the sins of self. This is to say, that when a person wrongs another person the soul of the person committing the wrong knows it, and registers that wrong in his soul computer as one which must be compensated for at some time.

However, apparently it is very difficult for the soul to forgive the sins of self. It is like having a file in the soul computer stored full of karmic debts, which requires a password for entry. No password; no entry. The password into the soul computer, containing the karmic debts, is the forgiving of the sins of self, and a true seeking of forgiveness for wrongs done. Master Jesus tried to give mankind the password. It is very difficult to simply wipe out all of those debts to others, but it can be done by being truly sorry in the soul and seeking forgiveness for wrongs done. It may be a difficult procedure but it can be done, according to Master Jesus. A person can forgive the sins of self and go on to soul development."

"History is replete with examples of the Law of Compensation at work. It will continue to be so unless and until mankind learns the teachings of Master Jesus. Again, and again, and again, history repeats itself. All causes create multiple effects. All effects are the result of multiple causes. It will continue to be so until the causes cease and the effects of those causes play themselves out. It will continue to be so until the debts are all paid and the lessons are all learned."

It is very difficult to say better. The final two sentences coincide with the words of Jesus in the Sermon on the Mount: “Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them. 18 For truly I tell you, until heaven and earth disappear, not the smallest letter, not the least stroke of a pen, will by any means disappear from the Law until everything is accomplished.".
